Dry skin can cause fine lines and small pores to develop on the skin and it can start to flake. It’s common for dry skin to develop a rougher than normal texture. Our environment can play a part, especially when we’re exposed to cold weather or dry air for long periods of time. Using harsh chemicals in soaps too often, or not washing them away properly, can unbalance our natural pH. The key to combating dry skin is using products that are kind to sensitive skin and will lock in moisture.
How to treat dry skin using Poko?
Start with a gentle cleanse in the morning, and a double cleanse at night with a kind to skin cleanser which is massaged into a damp face and gently wiped away with a damp soft cloth or reusable bamboo pad to remove dirt, grime, excess oil and dead skin.
Follow up with your treatments at night, if you have red inflamed skin use our soothing serum either all over your face or in localised areas to soothe and calm the skin and hydrate the area.
Generously apply a hydrating moisturiser in the morning and at night, and during the day if needed. Our light hydrating moisturiserfights against dryness and significantly targets problem areas effected by outside pollutants, the elements, free radicals, and ageing skin.
Finish off with a facial oil at night which is kind to sensitive skin, ourluxury facial oil is packed with essential nutrients found in omega rich fatty foods, which work wonders for your skin. Moringa oil is compromised of almost 50% of monounsaturated fatty acids, with a particularly high percentage of oleic acid to replenish moisture loss.
Make sure you wear an SPF during the day, every day to combat sun exposure and damage from UVA & UVB rays.
