We understand the struggle of dealing with breakouts and the best way to manage this is to find a skincare regime that suits your skin. Acne treatment requires at least 6 weeks of consistent use before you see results and you have to treat your skin, your body and mental health with TLC. Make sure to consult with your GP/dermatologist if you have sensitive skin or if you are unsure of the ingredients in our products.
You can start using our Purifying Gel Cleanser which contains 5 highly effective AHAs and niacinamide to help regulate oil production and reduce inflammation. You can follow this up with our Brightening Rosewater Toner which has azelaic acid and aloe vera to unclog your pores. Once dry, use our Soothing Serum which contains tea tree oil to reduce redness and swelling. Then to further treat your acne-prone area, you can use our Azelaic Acid Spot Gel.* Azelaic acid is gentle on the skin, helps exfoliate the skin, is an anti-inflammatory and has antioxidant properties. Then you can follow it up with our Light Hydrating Moisturiser to keep your skin hydrated.
*Our Azelaic Acid Spot Gel needs 6-8 weeks of consistent topical use before you begin to see improvements. Please note that azelaic acid may cause ‘purging’. Skin purging is a term used to describe breakouts that happen soon after you start using a new skincare product that increases your skin’s natural exfoliation rate; it only happens on the areas of your skin where you would usually experience breakouts. You will experience fewer breakouts once you get through the initial purge.
