Eczema is a really common skin condition where patches of skin get itchy, crack and become inflamed and rough, some people even get blisters. It can be really uncomfortable so it's important to understand how to treat it and not irritate your skin further.
How to care for eczema with Poko?
Cleanse your skin both morning and night with a cleanser that won't irritate skin or strip it. We recommend you use a cleanser that has hyaluronic acid in it to help hydrate your skin as you cleanse it. Our gel cleanser also has niacinamide to help tackle redness.
Your next step should be a treatment step. Using a product like our soothing serum, which is suitable for day and night use, will help to lock in moisture and hydrate you skin while preventing excess sebum production.
Follow up in the morning and at night with a moisturiser that focuses on hydration, as this is the key to calming eczema. If you have particularly stubborn areas you could swap your moisturiser for our hempsoriasis balm which works to prevent itchy, inflamed skin from becoming worse while soothing and moisturising the area.
At night follow up with a facial oil to nourish the skin.
During the day, always wear an SPF to prevent skin from getting damaged from UVA & UVB rays or further drying out your skin.
